THE 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DANCE AND DIGITALIZATION (ICDD 2024) WILL BE HELD AT THE HUNGARIAN DANCE UNIVERSITY IN BUDAPEST, HUNGARY ON 29 NOVEMBER 2024.

The conference aims to fully present the relationship between dance and digitalization with themes including the creation of digital databases related to dance, archiving dance and the scientific use of these resources. The relationships between dance and social media, the physical and digital worlds, choreography and new tools and art forms, digital platforms and dance education, and AI and dance will be discussed.

ICDD will only take pleace in person on the Campus of the Hungarian Dance University. No virtual / online /remote presentations will be possible.

There is no registration fee for the conference.
Language: English

Types of proposals 
  • Section presentation (15 min presentation + 5 min discussion)
  • Symposium (60 min for presentations + 20 min discussion)
  • Interactive workshop (45–60 min)

The keynote speakers will be invited by the Program Committee.

A thematic panel incorporates at least three or four speakers (including the panel moderator) and at least one opponent on a closely related topic. A panel participant may also apply to give a session presentation.
